Leakage current
Refers to the EMI filter is connected to the rated voltage, the filter ground terminal to any end of the power supply current, the test principle diagram is as follows:

Note: The leakage current of the DC power filter is not required.
Insertion loss
The insertion loss of the filter is the ratio of the noise voltage transferred from the noise source to the noise load without the filter to the noise voltage on the load when the filter is inserted. The insertion loss is tested under no-load, 50Ω system conditions, and the result is usually expressed as a attenuation curve (in dB) in the frequency band of interest. Insertion loss can be calculated by the following formula:

Where: V1- Noise voltage on the load without filter; V2- Insert the noise voltage on the filter load.

Insulation resistance
Edge resistance refers to the resistance between the filter phase line and the middle line to the ground. It is usually tested with an insulation resistance meter. The insulation resistance of the AC power filter is greater than 200MΩ/500VDC, and the DC power filter is greater than 60MΩ/60VDC.
